Every social network waxes on about being of value to its members, but I hold a unique position in the industry that I hope can actually get you all hired and trained.
To do that, we'll need to coax, grow, and monitor the community. There's a mix of social media folks, sourcers, and headhunters on the site, and while I don't have a problem with people mixing and matching, I do want to prevent the site from being spammed by job posters.
To do that, I'm thinking of basic rules. Working to meet social media people is totally acceptable - posting jobs in forums and blogs might be banned activity.
Pushing your events and webinars and meetups and videos and case studies is great. Putting press releases out about everything you do is frowned upon.
Any other suggestions? I want to walk that fine line between managing the site for growth and preventing the site from being just another profile you add to source a list of names.
All thoughts, and ideas are welcome.
